In Bahrain, the University of Bahrain won a grant in partnership with Loughborough University. The funding limit for this round is 125,000 GBP, which must be matched by the applicant institutions with cash or in-kind. The call is open now and the deadline is June 28th, 16:00 UK time. To be eligible, research projects need to fall under Bahrain specific research theme “Clean and renewable energy solutions”, which may or may not include integration with emerging disruptive technologies with a focus on solar, wind, or energy storage.
